Shane Lovell has won the winter league at Windmill Fishery in Bristol.

A second spot with 9lb12oz was enough to secure the top of the leaderboard and win the league.

Shane worked hard for the league win, some days easily catching carp on pellet, but other days having to work hard for every bite on bloodworm and joker.

He used a variety of different Blacksilver Baits groundbait mixes over the weeks depending on the conditions, including Match Team Gold, Black Magik, and a new mix for 2012 'Gardons'
